Ceredigion Coastal Path has being developed to enable walkers to access one of Europe’s most magnificent coastlines. The whole 60-mile length of the Ceredigion coastline from Cardigan to Borth became available for ramblers from 3 July 2008. From Ynyslas north of Aberystwyth the route sweeps around Cardigan Bay to join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Poppit Sands south of Cardigan.
The path has now been extended to complete the All Wales Coast Path, indeed it is now possible to walk the whole circuit of Wales by combining Offa’s Dyke path with the coast path.

Much of the path is close to the shoreline giving access to sandy beaches, wild cliff tops and rambling lanes. The route takes in new and much loved existing routes to give over 100kms of walking which can be split into short and long, easy or challenging, linear and circular walks suitable for all.
Cardigan Bay is home to bottlenose dolphins, porpoises, Atlantic grey seals and a wide variety of birds, flora and fauna. See the red kite, choughs, peregrine falcons, gannets, puffins. Spot unusual butterflies and rare orchids. Enjoy the cleanest air and magnificent views over Cardigan Bay.
